80% of whom?

The only recent survey asking explicitly about support for the bill before the Senate, conducted by CNN/Opinion Research Corp this past weekend, can be found at pollingreport.com

It says that only 47% oppose the bill and a third of those do so because they say it "does not go far enough toward helping illegal immigrants?". So your side is, at best, 32%. Statistically, that's a tie with those who support the bill. 22% are undecided.

Other recent polls ask about specific aspects of the bill.

For example, the LA Times found two weeks ago that 63% of respondents support "allow[ing] undocumented immigrants who have been living and working in the United States for a number of years, and who do not have a criminal record, to start on a path to citizenship by registering that they are in the country, paying a fine, getting fingerprinted, and learning English, among other requirements." 23% oppose.

Similarly, 49% support the guest worker program while only 26% oppose it.

Finally, according the NBC and the Wall Street Journal, 51% would be upset if this congress failed to pass an immigration bill.

So, where's your 80% opposition result hiding?

Oh, wait. You said "amnesty bill." You're polling on a nonexistent bill?
