Less coal would be being burned if liberals weren't so anti-nuclear. Worse, did you know back in the Jimmy Carter era, the federal government tried to prevent natural gas from being used to generate electrical power. Wise government leaders and advisors knew we had a very limited supply of natural gas, which would soon run out .... so they didn't want it wasted on things coal could do.
