Because Dave, our energy usage is ALL our business! If people won't do their bit, they have to be MADE to do their bit. We TRIED voluntary compliance, and it didn't work.

Just think of it as the same as speed limits, if it helps you to get it. If need be, I can see using the police, fines, eventual possible jail time, and rewards to snitches to ensure compliance..

Before you know it, you won't even REMEMBER incandescent bulbs!
