<What ever happens, somebody is going to end up with all of MPRS, maybe GTIS again, could be anybody.>
What were the sticking points the first time around? Price?--I'll bet it is a lot lower now. Your suggestion to read up on usenet is a good one, I read through several of the threads today, if there is indeed a deal in the works I would say that Amy is going to get a scolding on Monday tho, just a little too eager to hint. I was surprised by all the disappointment about AoJ, quite a following. I have never been interested in Comic books but if there was a digital mechanism for tapping into the collector bug, what a gold mine that would be--just a random thought.
If the only thing I ever read were 10k's I probably would not feel too comfortable with MPRS, it is certainly a gamble at this stage, but there is so much unrealized money out there slopping around in companies stock, I think sensible companies have to spend it while the markets are up. I've been surprised that the merger mania has been mainly in very large cap companies, the little players need to wake up and start merging--it hardly matters the industry, for the time being, bigger is better (for stockholders). When I think about the market cap of MPRS and just about any other player out there, it just boggles my mind. |
