Hillary would do what most congressional leaders do now, push their own bills even when they will be vetoed and try to jam up the president from the other party in much of what he does. We know there would be major fights over Iraq, taxes, immigration and other vital issues. My main point is that if McCain gets in because he Ayers-Wrighted Obama into a close second place, the atmosphere inside the Beltway will be uglier than ever. I don't think it would take McCain long to lose his temper with the kind of obstruction that has become the norm in Congress. I doubt it would be pretty.
