No, it doesn't, because there is nothing "modern" about the Republican Party. The ideas they espouse are antiquated and stale, and they have been for quite a few presidential cycles. I mean really.............take a look at the last 5 republican presidential candidates.

I don't know about anyone else, but I've had a hard time stomaching the Republican Party for quite awhile now.

We'll see in November how many Americans see it the same way, and whether the country we know and love has survived the coup that began with Barack Obama?
