Is this guy lying?

No, he's not lying. You're the one making an untrue statement.

You said " health care...that costs 12 grand a year for a family of 4." That's simply not true.

He said "The annual premium for an employer health plan covering a family of four averaged nearly $12,700." I accept that as true or close enough to true.

I have made the point several times now but you still keep conflating health care and health insurance. Not the same thing. Typical families are too healthy to spend anywhere near $12K a year at the doctor's. It's only older people or those with serious illnesses that incur that kind of medical expense.

Is this lies??

That's apples and oranges. It has nothing to do with what we're discussing. We were talking about free ridership and the legal obligation to buy health insurance.

I'll bold the easy to understand parts..

You still haven't explained that convoluted sentence, merely asserted that it's easy to understand in the face of my description of the difficulty in interpreting it. Non-constructive.
