I agree with your view of Mickey's tax situation. The county is obviously digging for gold. I don't know beans about it, (and I really find it difficult to even imagine 33,000 sq ft house), but from the ads and articles I've seen in the real estate section of the WSJ, the market value of mega-luxurious houses is almost as rule much less than they cost to build - the reason being that one person's dream house is rarely the same as the next person's dream house. 22M? I'd bet there hasn't ever been a residence which has fetched that much on the market, ever. DK
