My win95 runs fine (except for the crashes, but hey - that's part of running a msft os). Other than that, all my apps run fine. Why bother spending another $100? Win95 to Win98 is no where near as compelling an upgrade as 3.1 to 95 was. Good apps just didn't run well if at all on 3.1. They required 95. The improvements that 95 offered over 3.1 where dramatic. 98's improvements over 95 are incremental and not worth the $$$ and, just as important, the hassle. I think that's how many people will see it.
