What has really changed (i.e. new products etc..)? Or is NTAP just emphasing this part of their business, and who they are, more now.

NTAP finalized the purchase of its new content management/distribution software company in November. They now have a full understanding of the capabilities of that software and apparently believe their purchase was a good one. The software fits will on the filer and caching op sys and hardware platforms. The goal of the purchase was to take their storage paradigm to a new level. That is what they're doing with impressive style and commitment.

Others can stay and fight the NAS versus SAN battle.
