2. If someone is dying the first thing he needs is Oxygen and then water and food, and then perhaps a nice suit and a roof over the head! For South East Asia to get out of their economic problems they first need a better information technology infrastructure before anything else. Companies such as Sun, IBM and HP will the big winners IMHO

Thats silly. During the 80s when we went through recessions companies didn't buy MORE computer junk! Its shaping up to be a fairly dismal 1998, stock up on the presents this year as next year will have coal in the stockings...
