Hi Penni - Very interesting that we were talking about freezers.
I discovered what was in the back of mine all right. We had been without power for 5 days - I discovered that having a woodstove is a necessity in Canada. And it gets dark so early! The kids thought it was kinda fun for a while, but it is now very scary.
We were very lucky that we left yesterday (in an ice storm) and made it through to my parents' house in Pennsylvania as we gave some work to do in this area. Very scary trip. Power lines and trees down and covered with ice - it looked like the aftermath of a war. No gas available for 100 miles - a good lesson. Keep your gas tank filled at all times. Montreal is devastated. No power expected for days more, possibly weeks. Our area was one of the worst hit-- freezing rain, no sun, lots of wind - nonstop for a week.

Can't stay on long - Thanks for this message --
I'll probably try to log back on later as the connection is a little flukey here.
