"could you possibly point me to the information that supports the blowout reports that you are expecting"
Tall order. Obviously, street estimates are bullish, but that's already discounted in the price. I have no access to any information other than that publicly available. You have to make up your own mind, all I can say is that I'm personally long and intend to hold over earnings, but my NOKA holding is stock and LEAPs. With may calls in the money, I'd probably cash in at least half just before earnings, but I'm a coward ;-)
Re: Due Diligence... as a word of caution: I did get "inside" info on ERICYs report last autumn from an ERICY employee friend in Sweden. "Massively above street estimates" etc. Bought lots of ERICY, smiled snugly and awaited the report. It came. It was _very_ good. It was also released in october 1997. Yes, that day...
I finally sold those ERICY shares at a profit a couple of weeks ago, but the moral I am trying to get across is that nothing is certain in the stock market, especially not short term timing.
If you want a good stock to hold long term, I do belive NOKA is a _very_ safe bet. Good luck, and lets see what the post-split price is tomorrow!
