Dude it's totally a work comp issue. Because work comp legislation seriously impacted my biz last week. (I'm paying rent like the next working stiff and have a 400 dollar chevy payment)...Not to mention 45 grand in equipment lease payments. Not exactly living the high life for the risk i took.

(most private insurance in california pay about the same fee schedule. maybe tack on 15-20 percent above work comp reimbursement rates.

Most private insurance (blue cross , blue shield..) contracts with PTPN (Physical Therapy Provider Network) and they have preferred provders to send you to. Maybe you should check that out. (they actually pay the therapist sooner than 6 months or a year.) (the therapist has to pay a HUGE chunk of cash to belong ...to the group.)

I bet your insurance company isn't going to pay the therapist for 9 months to a year. Have you ever tried waiting a year for a payroll check and then have it reduced 50 percent? Oh nevermind. Good luck to you.
