Help with an option question.

I currently have some put options on HRS. Harris Corp. is is in the process of spinning out one of its subsidiaries (Lanier) into a public company. I've seen in the past where a company that does this, usually declines in price by the market value of the underlying asset and shareholders usually receive a stock dividend for the newly traded company(most recently with GM and Delphi). How would my put options behave? It seems to easy for the stock to drop and my put options to increase significantly on the day of the Lanier IPO. I bought Feb 25's at 2. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Doug
