scrupulous: Sorry to hear about your problems with DLJ. I also trade with DLJ and have only had a problem with them once. I got a terrible trade in a fast moving market and complained to them. They ended up splitting the amount I estimated as a loss with me. That was more than I expected so I was happy. After hours wasted on the phone, they erased the erroneous sell, including all documentation, and kept the profits. Everyone makes a mistake once in a while. At least they made it good in your account. The only thing you lost was some time. While I sympathize with your situation, of course they kept the profits. If it had resulted in a loss you would have expected them to eat it wouldn't you? You can't have it both ways. Good luck in the future. I hope you don't give up on them yet. I also trade at Etrade and WIT Capital. DLJ is by far superior IMHO. Ritch
