to thread,

what the writer fails to elaborate on and some of you recognize to realize is that aol is producing a product like passport to compete with msn/xp. why would they compete with their own customer?

all hailstorm is is a application server with a jazzy name. orcl=9ias, ibm=websphere, bea, sun=iforce all have internet application strategies. have you all not heard the ceo of bea say that they have the os for the internet. thats all hailstorm is is different platform. msft is just late the party, thats all.

some of you are only looking at the likely suspects such as orcl, sunw, or aol. a company like bea could come and slip the rug out from under your feet and you would never see it coming. damn, beas signed a strategic alliance with intc to be their platform of choice. this should tell you how late msft actually is. a shit company like beas having a software alliance with your biggest strategic partner.

lastly, i can only think that intc does not want to be around when all the carnage of msft marketshare begins to stink.

rocky.
