SyQuest competes solely on price. The SparQ is cheaper, hence,
it's ability to generate sales. What happens when the Orb is
released? More speed, double the capacity, at the same price.

At least Iomega has a large installed base of users. What
does SyQuest have? 150K SparQ users? Personally, I doubt
SyQuest will be able to move much higher than $3.5 or so.
Then again, Yahoo is over $100 and Amazon isn't far behind.
