I don't disagree with that, but realistically, that is insufficient to solve the problem.

It is weird. We are getting ready to start exporting our clean, cheap natural gas to China and others. While we import dirty, expensive oil from the ME. Wouldn't it be better if we just used the nat gas at home where we need it and make the other guys pay the Saudis?
