PROLIFE- steel is very cyclical like autos and many other industries. Yhe US is getting competitive again. Many new & smaller plants have been built in the past 15 years. Also, the huge mills have gone under. Along with them went outdated work rules and some perks such as 13 weeks vacation. The downfall of steel in the US was plants were not updated and a union strangle hold.
