Strange! The only "date" attached to the article itself is "May" without a year. But it definitely reads like it was written in May 2001, NOT May 2002.

Graef Crystal is complaining about a grant (presumably) made on 12/31/1999, being counted as a FY2000 option grant, which didn't become known until the April 2001 proxy. The author implies the grant was really a 1999 grant.

So your "Items that weren't disclosed until 2002 had a material impact during 2001" should really read "Items that weren't disclosed until 2001 had a material impact during 1999".
