I can't argue with any of that. I sure hope that you are right; but we have fallen so fast and so far that recovery may be beyond possibility. I remember useful discussions focusing on tactical/strategic issues while in the USAF -- good thought provoking sessions. So many issues boil down to the Realistic (minimax) vs. Idealistic philosophies we learned in the classroom -- which were exemplified by Kennedy the realist, and Reagan the Idealist. I hadn't considered that type analysis in years. Fun indeed. Roll Tide! :0)
