To All: Another CBC North Radio report today stated that the Fed's have introduced legislation that would establish the park boundaries as previously negotiated. Inuvialuit reaction was that they would work to have some changes to park boundaries introduced as amendments to the bill during the committee review stage of the legislation.

Apparently the GNWT is on side for changes to the park boundary. In Monday's "News North" published in Yellowknife the Minister of Resources, Wildlife and Economic Development is said to be supportive of boundary changes so long as the caribou calving grounds are not disturbed by mining. The GNWT seems to be taking their cues from the Inuvialuit. (http://www.nnsl.com/frames/newspapers/newsnorth/sideindexsetup.html)
