Caldera Resources Inc. - Gunanya and Tabletop East
Projects - de Beers Limited Joint Ventures

South Perth, Western Australia

Caldera Resources Inc. (TSE:CDR - news) is pleased to announce that Aboriginal Site Clearance surveys on potential target
locations were successfully completed in late June 2000 on the Gunanya and Tabletop East Projects.

The Gunanya and Tabletop East Projects are both subject to separate joint-venture agreements with Stockdale Prospecting

carried out by Stockdale planned for early August 2000.

Caldera is engaged in diamond exploration in Australia through six projects. The Company has four projects located in the
Pilbara region of northeastern Western Australia, and two projects located in northern South Australia, which are known as the
Abminga Projects. In addition to the two joint-ventures with Stockdale Prospecting Limited, Caldera has a joint-venture with
SouthernEra Resources Limited (TSE:SUF - news) on several Exploration Licences covering an area of 1015 sq.km.
