i think dvn has more debt per share than some others

According to Value Line, DVN will complete their merger with Mitchell Energy this month, after which they will sell some of Mitchell's smaller non-core properties. This should generate proceeds of approx $1 bil, which I assume (I know it's an assumption) will be used to pay down some debt. Current LT debt is roughly $2B.

Still, I think I may cut my GTC to a little over $34, since I expect a still weaker economy, which may cut gas consumption. If I don't get it, oh well.
