Kerry has an inordinate need to be liked more than respected. He doesn't understand the true nature of the enemy we face. And our enemies know it. They can smell that kind of weakness almost automatically. Of course, it helps to get crib sheets from the Vietcongs, who consider John Kerry one of the heroes of their revolution.
