You mean like when Saddam controlled all that oil during the 1980s when we supported him? Saddam has fallen out of the graces with the "powers that be" (aka Bush Oil Cabal and British Oil Cabal) and now he is paying the price. I have to say, Saddam Huessein is going to go down in history as the biggest moron ever. He could have built his people a beautiful country will all the oil wealth that he controls, but he let himself be played like a puppet by the Western imperial powers and went on all sorts of pointless wars of conquest that brought misery and destruction to his people. He could have had it good, if he just played along and sold his oil to Western interests quietly. What a jerk! Adios Saddam!
