Art, re: Nikon Coolpix 700M I forgot to mention the Nikon Coolpix 700 as a good option. It has the same CCD as the Coolpix 950, I believe. There is no optical zoom. It is not as sexy as the 950. Still a solid camera. I am still waiting for more SLR offerings and a more battery-friendly LCD screen option such as the solar backlit screens offered by Agfa and Epson. If storage capacities continue to climb and the SLR offerings are made available the need for immediate post-viewing will be greatly reduced. Ausdauer
