This is a more detailed look at the Bookings and Billings for 2013 compared to the data from 2012.

Bookings for this July were 39M more than last July. Bottom line after 7 months, Bookings are down 1490M from last year at this point in time. The difference between the Billings number this July narrowed considerably from last July compared to the previous June comparison data. However, Billings through the 7 months is down 2101M from the 2012 comparable point in time. In order to equal the Billings of 15224M at the end of 2012, 7498M must happen over the next 5 months, or an average of 1500M a month. This is not in the cards with Bookings as low as they have been this year, and the drop off in Bookings for July compared to June really put the nail in the coffin.
