Yes, as usual we have been 'talking' about installing a system for some time, but nothing done until now. Yes, all wireless and including a private (lower frequency) RF network straight into Vigilanza Umbria. The reason for the lower RF network: Good penetration, thick stone walls not a problem, and not easily jammed by the bad guys.

Now, let me get back to you on the rest. Quite interesting and again, one pays school money to learn a few things.
In Umbria they haven't had any such problems until starting like 18 months ago, so nobody is prepared and very few have a clue about how to protect oneself and keep the bad guys out. Or, should they get in, how to prevent them from forcing open the main doors from the inside thus making the way free to carry out anything to the van waiting outside...

Like fridge/freezer combo, ovens, rattan divani...toilets!!!... An old US rocking chair from San Diego and so force.
Throw in all electronics, of course and that includes a heavy duty 4 feet motorized sat dish.

More later, stay tuned.
Our 2nd burglary within 18 months, we also had one in San Diego, but with very little stolen when the alarm went off.
That's when 2 shifts of cops including 6 cars and several dogs moved in just around 4pm.

One of those dogs made his back biz on our all carpeted floor in the bed room. Cleaning the full white carpets cost us USD 600+ and then the new tenants moved in - and just pulled out the full carpets because they wanted a redwood floor...

Some luck with the bad guys recently, I guess.
