Mark,

Thanks!

I found that it has been a bit difficult to select a favorable DELL put to start a position. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

As to 3x50, you could change the jumpers to either 3x50 or 1.5x50 to see how it work out. On the news boards, 3x50 will set 6x86 to 150Mhz. While the older boards, 1.5x50 will set 6x86 to 150Mhz.

However, I would stick with P166+ (66x2) as 6x86 is a "STRONG" CPU need faster memory speeds (L1,L2 and RAM) to feed it.

If you do want to overclock your P166+, I would suggest you to get Amptron PM8600 which has 75/83Mhz bus speed and all other best features for 6x86 with very affordable price.
