GaBard,--Being 1st. to offer free Internet and e-mail in the UK could be worth a fortune to x-stream in building up their subscriber numbers, thus the millions in advertising that will go with it. They must play on this being the 1st. in their promotion.!!! An example of what 1st. means to me is:- for years I was paying our local telephone company on average about $200.00/month for long distance. I knew they were screwing me into the ground, but there wasn't anything I could do about it. Last year I switched to Sprint who offered free telephone calls after 6 and on weekends. My long distance charges have dropped from $200.00 down to $50.00/month. The other day, I get a call from the original telephone company who now offers me a better deal by 5% than sprint to switch back. My answer - the hell with you guys! If it wasn't for Sprint, I'd still be screwed in the ground, i'm sticking with the 1st. crowd that gave me a big break. In the meantime, that doesn't mean to say once Sprint got us in their grasp they won't slowly raise their fees. Let's hope that's why x-stream's subscriber list will rise.!!!
