3rd generation cellular will be out worldwide starting in 2002...MCOM had better start deploying in a big hurry if they want their user base to be big enough not to get swamped. At data rates of 144kbps (moving) to 2Mbps (stationary), it will blow MCOM away...if the packet charges are reasonable. techweb.com
