Great post! The info on Microstamp in an earlier post was also very much apreciated.
It sure has been narrowed down to a pretty simple call on Micron these days. There can't be many bulls right now that would argue that Micron is'nt losing their lunch right now. But the demand for DRAM is healthy as ever. So it's down to....if the market price on DRAM turns profitable (that's a five buck jump on 16 Mbits), against pretty bad odds, then Micron is dirt cheap now. If the market stays like it is for an extended period, it's hasta la bye-bye.
I would bet that no matter how bad the outlook for Microstamp gets, there won't be an admission unless the point becomes mute...(DRAM price moves up). If everything remains as is, then they won't spill a bean about their latest comodity venture.
