What made that less impressive for AMAT is that the profits have to be spread over 1.7 Billion shares. The last 2 splits were maybe unnecessarily exuberant. Especially the one this year. What the hell were they thinking ? I'd like all companies with huge share counts to undo their splits to be in balance with their revenues. So we can get back to the days when shares were in the $50's or $100's. Sarmad
