Half-empty commentary!!! Anybody on the "short" have facts or just old Betamax comparisons? >What Apple got for its money was a part-time half-hearted effort. >This is definitely not good for MAC OS development. Jobs is there to toss around concepts with Amelio. If you ran Apple wouldn't you want to talk to this man? Even if you think he can't manage a big business (agreed!), Jobs is a visionary. In terms of development, NeXt is supposed to be easiest and very powerful. What part of this is "not good for MAC OS development". >On top of this NEXT is a variant of old UNIX which is not what Apple >needs for a new OS for the 20th century.
