The Globe reporters did spend a lot of time and energy on their Bio of Kerry last year. Are they all tired out? Hewitt

Questions about John Kerry's gun-running or his magic hat did not appear to have come up at yesterday's presser featuring swift boat supporters of Kerry and their handlers, though Christmas Eve in Cambodia did, and the vets defended Kerry's bad memory, noting how it had been 35 years after all. I'll bet that the pro-Kerry swifties aren't willing to come on the radio.

What is really amazing is the lame story that the Boston Globe's Michael Kranish put out on Kerry's cross-border adventures. Note that it doesn't even mention the magic hat much less the more obscure Kerry claims like gun running. Has Kranish been asleep or is he too embarrassed at having bought this stuff in the bio he and other Globe reporters put out to raise the hard questions now?
