No, democrats would be spending less than Bush now. And democrats would not be running deficits, certainly not the monstrous ones Bush is. Clinton proved this in both cases. Clinton's tax code and economic template was just fine and should have been left in place. If so, we'd have a balanced budget, strong dollar and even better growth and employment numbers.
