I have to agree with you on that to a degree, but did the Press jump all over Bush's screw ups this early in his administration? I seem to remember in 2000 when Bush was running he was caught on a "hot mic" calling some guy a "major league a hole" but I don't remember any reports on it from the mainstream press. I'm sure Obama is getting an easier ride than normal, but wouldn't any President get a little slack during times like these? That said, this love affair between Obama and his teleprompter is really getting to be a bit much. I'm beginning to wonder if he doesn't have one next to his bed with "Goodnight Dear" on it. Is there a "clip" of Obama screwing that introduction up?
