I live in Silicon Valley, one of the most diverse, independent, and innovative areas of the country. We build things here, we invent, we lead the country in technology, innovation, and entrepreneur spirit. All built on a financial model that rewards hard work, guts, and perserverance. We don't rely on government handouts, and don't expect God to fulfill our needs.
We accept anyone who can contribute, regardless of race, sex, creed, or sexual orientation. We have thriving communities from many countries. One of the reasons is that people are accepted for who they are, and allowed to maintain their individuality without pressure to conform. Another is that people can still achieve success through hard work, and not at the whim of some Walmart-like corporation.
Without Silicon Valley, you'd still be yelling at the WWW match on TV, instead of the opportunity to experience the truth via the Internet. Too bad you don't take advantage. Well, there's always those Wrestlemanias to look forward too... |
