Hi Dennis: I have heard nothing regarding these layoffs but I will ask around. Why would the company layoff TCP/IP people unless there might be an overlapp with another company? Could they have been hired by the potential suitor or could Novell be looking at acquiring a TCP/IP company? We really need to know what 'significant' is and if this is in fact true or not. In any case (IMO) TCP/IP technology will continue to be an important area for Novell to develop and support in the future. We will have to stay alert to any announcements by the company. EKS
