I was glad to hear what you had to say about SK. It fits with
my impression. There's still a national identity that means people
will work toward a set of common goals. Can you imagine Canadians
or Americans voluntarily bringing in their gold to help out their
governments when they screw up? Lot of discipline. Strong work
ethic. The trouble is that they may be overwhelmed by problems
in Japan. A bit like what happened to the Finns when Russia
collapsed. The Finns were working just as hard as ever. But
over a very short period of time they lost fifty percent of their
export market. They survived but there were rough times.
