Criticizing Obama is not substantive?

No, I think he can get Musharraf's phone number. I just don't think Obama knows what to do when he gets it. Frankly, I don't think anybody does. I certainly don't.

I talked to a guy promoting a book about building schools for Pakistani girls in villages so remote that there was no road within miles, and the road to the trailhead was littered with the wreckage of buses and other vehicles that had failed to negotiate it.

He showed a picture he took from Musharraf's helicopter that showed those people were capable of agriculture on ground that we Americans normally reserve for alpine mountain climbing. He showed pictures of a very fine school, built with contributions from US school children and other donations.

Then he showed a picture of a nearby camp. The two biggest tents in this camp were next to each other. In one tent was a school for children; in the other, the planning tables for Al Quaeda.

It seems to me that Al Quaeda is just waiting for our school children to build schools for them so they can move out of their tent.

I have nothing against Al Quaeda as long as they stay over there and quit shouting 'death to America,' flying planes into buildings, bombing our buildings, and trying to infiltrate our culture with Sharia law.
