This reminds me of the start of 1987. Down 550 today is about 6 or 7%.
On October 19,1987 the dow dropped 22%. I don't know how much the % drop was on October 29, 1929 but that was the biggest % drop in one day ever.

I think I'll wait til the morning of October 30th before I consider clearing out my YHOO short.

Hope you are still holding onto your shorts. You don't want to get caught with your pants down in this market.
