Tho' I can't rule it completely out, that doesn't sound
too likely. Access is normal except for booting.

Now if you want to say something's wrong with NT
accessing this size drive, or something's wrong with
PM formatting this size drive, or something wrong with
the bios accessing this size drive, well, those are more likely.
Is there some particular reason you would single out
the Maxtor as the miscreant?
