I think you must regard Russia and what is happening in Russia as, simply, the stage in the repudiation of a centrally planned, fascist-police state run by a bureacracy of gangsters. Yeltsin made every kind of deal with the powers that be in Russia. The gangsters instead of being part of the state intelligence organizations are now dealing in stolen cars from Europe, extortion, and the media and banking worlds. In the next stage that will happen in Russia the gangsters will begin to fight with each other for more and even bigger empires. Blood will be shed in buckets.
