I'm saying both sides are neglecting their jobs- and yes, I think the war has caused a certain myopia when it comes to other pressing concerns. Do I know how that plays out with regard to infrastructure? No. But it could be significantly more than a butterfly effect.

Have you taken a gander at the demoralized republicans lately? I think both sides have been driven to distraction by this war. But of course, you can make it all about one side.
