Neocon,

It looks like it was a "HARM" missile. Those are
high-speed, anti radiation missiles designed to
take out radar sites. Of course, NATO with its
usual sense of propaganda said that the nasty Serbs
turned on a radar site near the Bulgarian border,
then turned it off with the intent of tricking the
HARM missile into going into Bulgaria. Absurd. I
with NATO would turn off the propagand BS already.
Anyway, I am sure that the Serbs are enjoying the
cat and mouse game. I'm sure most of those HARM
missiles (at about $500,000 a piece) are just
slamming into dummy radar sites designed to fool
pilots into attack. It is just like the Gulf War
where we destroyed about 3X as many scud missile
sites as they had. I have a feeling that the reason
why NATO wants more aircraft is so that they can
saturate the sky with aircraft so that they can
respond immediately to any radar source or possible
armor. The frustration grows every day...
