Well, based on my experience, with the exception of the optimization routine that Metastock has, ProTA is a far superior tool and I will have a powerbook and that tool as long as both are made.

Besides, if you can't justify the hardware from your trading profits, then you only need one machine, and that should be a Mac anyway.
