Ray, thanks very much for your kind words.

I didn't post the links to look for compliments or to start a discussion about Hutton/Kelly but I can say that our first letter caused a minor sensation in the UK when it appeared the day before the Hutton Report was released. It was mentioned in many newspapers, some on the front page. As Andy Warhol said, we really did have our 15 mins of fame.

Anyway, and as I expected, there was no reopening of the Kelly inquest and so the matter has now officially been put to rest --- even though very few believe what Lord Hutton has said.

But it was fascinating how ordinary people could have a go at the government --- and very nearly succeed. In fact, I think if Mrs Kelly had been more "concerned" they would have had to reopen the inquest but, clearly, she was too frightened to fight with the state especially when she needed her late husband's pension to live on.
